Overview​

IQEdgePro is an IIoT edge gateway software powered by IQFLOW that runs on IQFLOW Industrial-Grade edge device as IIoT gateway to simplify your Industrial IoT solutions Deployment. It provides web-based UI easy-to-use configuration for Device Management, Network Configuration, Data Collection, Protocol Conversion, Data-to-Cloud, and other functions. With these capabilities, integrating IIoT into your system is more straightforward than ever.

IQEdgePro provides a unified software environment to manage field devices, process data locally, and securely transmit information to IQFLOW Cloud or third-party IoT platforms. It is optimised for industrial reliability, long-term deployment, and scalable edge architectures.

What is IQEdgePro?​

IQEdgePro is a Linux-based edge gateway software suite that simplifies industrial IoT deployments by combining:

  • Device and protocol management
  • Edge data processing and buffering
  • Secure networking and cloud connectivity
  • Local configuration and monitoring tools

By moving key logic and processing to the edge, IQEdgePro reduces cloud bandwidth usage, improves latency, and ensures continued operation even when network connectivity is unstable.

Device Management​

  • Dashboard overview to monitor device running status;
  • System general settings, prebuilt web-based terminal for further management;
  • Over-the-air (OTA) Software upgrades. Reboot and reset device operations.

Network Configuration​

  • Intuitive configuration for Cellular/WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi/LoRaWAN networks.
  • Online detection with auto recovery mechanism to keep link up.
  • Smart failover/backup between Ethernet and cellular.

Data Collect​

Protocol Convertion​

  • Modbus router between Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP.
  • BACnet router between BACnet MSTP and BACnet IP.

  • DDNS, VPN-Ready for secure remote access.
  • Add-on SaaS applications for field devices remote management.

3rd-party Services Integration​

  • Built-in Node-Red, LoRaWAN NS ChirpStack for easy data processing.

IQEdgePro Architecture​

IQEdgePro follows a modular edge architecture that separates hardware interfaces, protocol handling, data processing, and cloud communication.

At a high level, IQEdgePro:

  1. Collects data from field devices via serial, Ethernet, or wireless interfaces
  2. Converts and normalises data using industrial protocols
  3. Applies local processing, filtering, or logic at the edge
  4. Buffers data locally when connectivity is unavailable
  5. Securely transmits data to IQFLOW Cloud or external platforms
